Bear in mind that Michigan, like North Carolina and Wisconsin, have Democratic governors this cycle unlike 2016 to put the kibosh on voter suppression shenanigans.
If Michigan is solid blue, I believe this is the current map:
That would mean Biden starts just 21 EV's shy of a tie, which with House control this time around would win him the White House.
You might also have difficulty toddling down a ramp or drinking water under the pressure.
Far too early to be poll watching pete. Having been from Michigan and with having a big reunion coming up I have been talking to several of the old classmates. Now we did not live in a democrat county and to this day it still leans GOP. But some of those that I have talked to have said they are being bombarded with calls from alleged poll takers. Many say the same thing. They are tired of being called out if they do not support the left. I am hearing the same thing from friends in Tampa. So what do they do when they get these calls. They claim that they are voting for Biden. They say this because they do not trust the poll takers and do not want to be on a list that could come back and bite them.
You can even see it on this site. If you are clear GOP, or even say that you vote both sides of the aisle, you catch holy hell here and are called a racist and/or a facist and other classy things all just because you have a different view.Last edited by WaiverWire; 06-16-2020, 10:56 PM.

For DonnieD..........One other thing we had at HCSO the first 12-15 years I was there....we had a book that was called "The Red Book". It was our Bible for referring someone to another agency.
If you had a barking dog we would provide you with a name and number on who to call. If you had a bad neighbor we had a name and number for you to call. Domestics we could give you several names of places where to stay and who to call to get a ride if need be. We would stand by until that ride arrived.
If a family need mental health, drug abuse or alcohol guidance we had a name and number on who to call. The list went on and on.
We had a name and a number for all the shelters or places where you could find a meal.
And when I use the word "name" I mean it was a real person that we would give you direct contact information.
If you provided a referral to any other agency you also had to follow up with and see if the person in fact made contact with someone. I found out that those that I referred many did call and were satisfied with the results.
Sadly after 2 Sheriffs they stopped updating the book with the contact information. Some that cared would update the book on their own.

Michigan is also know for their militant camps and training.
In 1962 the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society} came to my town and they wrote what is known as the "Port Huron Statement". If you have not read it you should. Take note on who the author was.

Under her order you could not even work in your yard or move the grass. It drove my friends crazy as they were not even allowed to visit a neighbor or a relative.

Many are deplorables
"I'm not going to run from it, hell, it's what I think," Lowndes County Supervisor Harry Sanders said Tuesday.
Monday, after a 3-2 vote to relocate a confederate statue to the local cemetery failed, county chairmanHarry Sanders told The Commercial Dispatch that Black people were dependent on society because they were "taken care of" during slavery.
"In my opinion, they were slaves, and because of that, they didn't have to go out and earn any money, they didn't have to do anything," Sanders said. "Whoever owned them took care of them, fed them, clothed them, worked them. They became dependent, and that dependency is still there. The Democrats right here who depend on the black vote to get elected, they make them dependent on them."“Every man who has stepped foot on the moon launched from the Kennedy Space Center, in Florida. Yet, Florida has failed to figure out how to run an election properly — a task simpler than rocket science.”

I find it emminently amusing that the following is a current fact pattern:
1. Donald Trump is the head of the Republican Party
2. The Republican Party purports itself to be the party of family values
3. Donald Trump's niece is about to publish a tell-all book full of sordid things that have gone within the Trump family
4. Donald Trump is considering suing his niece to block it's publication
5. Because his niece signed an NDA from almost 20 years ago
It would be mind bottling if it wasn't the Trumps.
I'm sure there is a logical explanation, right Republicans? LOL you spineless, fatuous gas bags.Bullshit Centrist and Ondrej Palat fan club member

There's been stories since last September about the Trump campaign having serious concerns about their prospects in Michigan.
The president's troubles in the Rust Belt state are a potential warning sign for his reelection prospects.
And the RCP average right now is Biden +8.6% in Michigan. And not a single poll in their database going back to April of 2019 shows Trump winning against Biden.
But have no fear, Waiver's friends say they won't vote for Biden. So that means Trump's definitely gonna win.
Is this the undeserved complacency by the GOP at the local level you were speaking of, Donnie?Last edited by pete; 06-17-2020, 10:10 AM.S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S-Stammermeter 2019-2020: 29
