You can be forgiven if you are just getting your information from the media(even though there is video that shows him being chased from the dealership), but then you need to watch/read the trial before forming your opinion now that the facts are in the open. For the longest time I kept hearing that he traveled "out of state" and believed that meant some great distance and he purposefully went looking for trouble. Come to find out that "out of state" was 20 miles from his house and he had a job and family that lived in Kenosha.
Also, the problem with what the DA is doing, is that they are trying to use evidence that is not admissible in court. Anyone who has ever watched Law and Order knows you can't do that. These are pre-trial conditions, and the lead prosecutor has several times violated them and has had to be admonished by the judge.
Like I said, when Grosskreutz was asked if he approached Rittenhouse with his gun drawn, and was about to fire, and he said yes, that was the case. The last chance for a fair conviction would have been if they could get Rittenhouse to incriminate himself, which he didn't do.
Where the hell was his mother and why was this 17 year old out past 1:00 am with a gun violating curfew (not just the curfew after the riots, but the general curfew for persons under 18)? He had no business being there and murdered 2 individuals. But he's going to get off because the judge has a man crush on him.“Every man who has stepped foot on the moon launched from the Kennedy Space Center, in Florida. Yet, Florida has failed to figure out how to run an election properly — a task simpler than rocket science.”

It says a lot about you if you've watched the Grosskreutz CE and somehow come away thinking the judge will be the reason this is an acquittal. If no government system will guarantee a utopia, then our best choice is to look for the least exploitive one

The point is, as narrow way stated, if he had been at home at 1:00am instead of traveling 20 miles with a rifle to play junior soldier, this would have never happened.

You shouldn't separate the important factor of what came before from the series of events. If preceding events are not important then if a robber gets scared by a cop drawing a gun on him and shoots him then the robber would be able to justify a self-defense claim. Bullshit.
And here's another hypothetical situation, what if Rittenhouse was black? Do you honestly think everything from the way the cops treated him at the scene, how certain factions of the media and society are framing this, and how this judge is behaving would all be the same? No f'ing way. Is that Rittenhouse's fault? No. But it should matter and until it does then we're still fighting the Civil War.
