they will have to pry Kevin McCarthy’s lips from Trumps ass first and McCarthy will do anything for “the honor”. We are doomed.

    • Yeah, he could never have one of his children as VP, because that role has to be filled by someone who is expendable, a scapegoat.

        • Just finished watching the Chernobyl disaster documentary and I can't help but think out loud how a nation could be that incompetent and brainwashed with misinformation, and then I come here to read about the prospect of possibly electing Trump a second time.

            I’d prefer Chernobyl.
I’m a senior. As are Donnie, Puckhead, and JB.

            Who knew?

            • Trump and Ivanka are both residents of Florida. So absent one of them moving, they can't be on the same ticket.

              • $1.9 trillion stimulus passed the senate yesterday, no minimum wage increase

                • One caveat is Columbia's child poverty projections included the minimum wage increase, so the reductions in child poverty and overall poverty may not be as sharp, but they'll still be huge.

                    • Why is that not good? They’re a far cry from ICE or Homeland or border control. In fact, I would bet the WH chose FEMA specifically because they have more trust in their leadership to handle things humanely. Seems good to me. Immigration is a top 5 issue.

There is a backlog of minors waiting to cross over. Now they are being accepted again. The systems in place are not prepared to handle the influx. FEMA is being called in to help manage the overflow. Short-term this is a reasonable solution but definitely long-term something better needs to be done.

Because using FEMA means it is an emergency, and emergency situations are not good, doubly so if this somehow effects how the administration wanted to utilize FEMA for covid vaccinations.

Question: Can no show joe secure our borders?
                            Yes or No

QUOTE Rep. Henry Cuellar, a moderate Texas Democrat whose district hugs the border with Mexico, isn’t happy with how President Biden’s team has responded to the surge of migrants trying to enter the United States. “His people need to do a better job of listening to those of us who have done this before,” he said Monday.
