Yeah I'm a little tired of this "Stable" where all the pitchers blow out their arms, just score some damn runs. They had five hits in 24 innings and the top 4 hitters were 3 for 37 with 14 strikeouts. It's tedious to watch when it works, it's not watchable at all when it doesn't.

Lots of foul balls and flyouts. Gotta feel good for Cleveland fans. Place was packed and into it. That was probably Kluber's last pitch for the Rays.

Difference is Cleveland has a few professional hitters.

Rays lose the first game to their mirror image, Cleveland Guardians. Even being a somewhat purist, I do like the term Guardians--representing their well known bridge "guardians" . I'd sure like to see an AL team really give the Dodgers a run for their money. Lets see if it's the moneyballers or the bangers that make it there.

Money Ball should have been based on the Rays, and yep fuck Sternberg again

Rays take 2 out of 3 from the Sox. Kluber pitches a masterful game. Yanks will win the division, but Rays should certainly win a wild card. (I know, fuck Sternberg...)

Bauer suspended two years, effectively threes years by MLB after the courts dismiss the DV charge, pretty crazy. Honestly though, if I'm a wealthy athlete, I don't touch a random woman unless they sign a contract like 50 shades of grey, even if I don't plan inflicting physical damage on them.

He looks even worse in comparison to Vinik, who is the most beloved owner in sports this side of the Rooneys, and the Glazers… well they’re certainly not beloved and they make more bad decisions than good, but at least they’ll pony up the money to try and compete. Stu just sits on his ever-fattening wallet and complains.

Seriously. That asshole conman is incapable of keeping his foul piehole shut. Even today at his press conference he said “We’ll see how attendance goes this year” and factor it into their decision-making. How about fuck off with that shit? How about you try actually marketing the team for once instead of trying to tank your own attendance numbers? POS. Hopefully the same MLB executive committee folks are starting to see through his con artistry and will come to realize he is a big part of the problem down here.

Attendance is never going to be great in St. Pete and the corporate base that drives season ticket sales will always be a problem, but how many more people would go to games if Stu sold the team and stopped complaining and badmouthing everyone?

Good riddance this sister team plan is over and done with. What a mockery that would have been

What an absolutely insane deal for Franco after 70 MLB games. High risk high reward
