He's another Yanni Gourde. It was a system draft. They took a bunch of guys specifically tailored to fit their system.

Murray confirmed what we've all assumed, size is the very last thing they look at when drafting forwards. Remember that when mocking out our future drafts

Also remember that when we keep getting bounced out of the playoffs.

The lollipop guild is at a distinct disadvantage given the rule book enforced in the playoffs.
I’m a senior. As are Donnie, Puckhead, and JB.

          Who knew?

Really like Radim Salda, even if he is just a 7th rounder and an overage pick. I believe he played on the 2nd pair on the Czech team at the WJC behind Libor Hajek. In the games I seen of him, he played a nasty physical game, but had a surprising amount of offensive hockey IQ. I believe he ran the PP on an awful Saint John team. It will be interesting to see how he does on a very promising Rimouski team.

You don't need to convince me, I love power forwards.

Article on The Score gave us a D+ rating.

Given their track record at drafting from the 2nd round on, I'll take our scouts' words over that of The Score.

Yeah. I sat back and on paper our draft looks pretty bad, but I would dare call it that with what these guys have done in previous drafts (with guys who were said to be taken way too early as well).

                      Yep

Agreed Pete but I would like some bigger bodies, sometimes we get muscled out of the way and that hurts us, especially in the playoffs.

At pick #59, if you get a player in the mold of Yanni Gourde but a little more dynamic, that's a steal, IMO.
