Hedman says when team is playing poorly that it is not up to their standards and hopefully yesterday will wake him up. He is just not playing and reading the ice like he normally does. May be his second child has diminished his attention to hockey. Having children certainly changed my outlook on life.

I’m referring to the shift where he made a really bad decision to pinch in the offensive zone when Calgary was clearly breaking out. And then in the D zone he compounded his horrible decision-making when he chased the puck into the corner even though he already had a teammate there.
