Playing the Isles the last two years I think has molded this group into what they are today. We can play don’t blink, mistake free hockey while also generating offense.

That was textbook! Rags are getting nothing done 5 on 5 and we're getting even stronger. A lot of nonthreatening shots by them while we counter with grade A chances. Just stay out of the box and we've got this. Their injuries are piling up and they're openly talking as if the building will win games for them, lol.

Gotta seize the opportunity to take control of the series on Thursday. Might not get a better chance to strike while the Rangers are doubting themselves. After shaking off the rust, we’ve played our game now for a good long while. We can win the next two, of course, but scoring first and then getting a two-goal lead are huge keys. Tonight’s game showed how different the Rangers are when they’re chasing and opening up their structure to get back into a game. They looked A LOT less dangerous. If it hadn’t been for Killorn’s awful, thoughtless and completely unnecessary penalty, we would’ve blanked em and given them nothing. And that’s the big difference in the series and why we’ve got a good chance to seizing control. As Pete so smartly pointed out, the Rangers are a team that feeds off of mistakes. If you don’t turn the puck over, they don’t generate much. The way we’ve been playing for the last 6+ periods perfectly illustrates it. We’re flat out better at 5s and if we avoid bad penalties, we have a better chance of winning due to our significant edge in playoff experience.

When this team is dialed in as they were tonite not much the opposition can do. Not sure Rangers top forwards have the same will as Lightning’s top forwards. Sergachev caused some anxious moments and seemed hesitant. Palat just outstanding. Game 5 should be fun.
