Auston Matthews had wrist surgery today and will be out for six weeks, right up until the start of training camp.

Obviously, that's why the Leafs didn't win last year.

Eichel now has a new agent. He needs neck surgery but no agreement on type of surgery. He wants out of Buffalo but uncertainty on his health and Buffalo’s high asking price making it very hard to get a deal done. With delay in surgery suspect he misses the upcoming season. What a mess!
