Which seems fair. Do we need seven preseason games? Granted all but one or two are mostly minor and junior players, but the NHL preseason is a slog for sure.

Only Carolina could have a game where they get 67 shots on goal and still lose. The Moneypuck numbers are hilarious. 84 shot attempts and only 7 high danger chances. They were just lobbing pucks on net from distance all night. Empty calorie city.

So, the Kraken put a no BS stop in the B's home win record. 2-0 game, outshot them, and got a late EN to finish it 3-0. I'm telling you, this squad is going to give VGK all they can handle. Jones has upped his game and they have won several games late by more than one goal. This group bears watching, and because I live west, I can watch them pretty regularly. Oh, btw, it's their seventh win in a row.

So we must’ve caught them on an off night when they came to Amalie, because I wasn’t terribly impressed. But I’ve kept my eyes on the scoreboard and standings. As bad as Grubauer has been Jones has saved them. And Burakovsky was a fantastic signing.

They are not saying when Driedger is due back (ACL) , but it's likely Feb or Mar. He's pretty much a .900-920 goalie.
