I thought that Bettman had said when the season started that only 4 players in the league were not vaccinated, but now we have an outbreak in Ottawa and other teams having individual players and coaches testing positive. Are we to really believe all of these incidents are happening to vaccinated players? Trying to make sense

Just what the fishtix need: SEVEN players test for COVID. You can't tell me these are all 'breakthroughs'.

If you got vaccinated early, your immunity does wane over time a little bit. Not from getting seriously ill, that protection stays very high… but it becomes more possible to get a mild case.

Boosters restore that protection against being infected at all. It’s really not that hard to get one but since there are technically restrictions on who is eligible, the NHL and the PA can’t exactly go out and push them to the players.

Crosby has COVID. I can't find his vaccination status. I'd not hate him less, but I'd respect him more if he'd let folks know and respond with an opinion based upon objectively verifiable information.

The NHL said there were only I think four unvaxxed players at the start of the season, and we know Tyler Bertuzzi is one of them. Very unlikely Sid is another, just on odds.
