The surgeon who did my hip has similar policies. One of the reasons I got in during Covid was that I was not diabetic not a smoker and had ridiculous upper body strength and a loving wife. He did mention that he had to chisel away my hip socket to realign the joint. His surgical residents looked like body builders too. And. This is a production oriented business; my daughter and her MD will do as many as 9 knees and hips on surgery day.

Ben Bishop’s knee injury is a career ender. He rehabbed for over a year, and he went to Austin for a rehab stint in the AHL to see if he could still play. But he got lit up for 8 goals. The Stars recalled him and that was it.
